Directed by “Acknowledging” Thoughts

“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:6

Life is filled with decisions to the many choices surrounding us. All can fit into the two buckets of minor decisions and major decisions. From the moment we rise in the morning, we are greeted with everyday choices or minor decisions … Sleep a little while longer or get up… What to wear … What tasks to complete. Since small decisions can evolve into habits, such as getting up late every morning for work, it behooves us to give just as much thought to minor decisions as major decisions. Major decisions entail the decision of “to marry or not, if the decision is to marry, then who” or even “where to live” can be a major decision. Whether minor or major, each type of decision can present difficulties.

When our process of making a decision begins with thoughts of what God thinks, it opens us up to submit to God and to receive His guidance regarding the matter at hand, whether the decision is minor or major. Acknowledging God in all our ways positions us for success and even failures turned inside out. Failures with God at the helm miraculously work out for our good. Being led by God is an endeavor accompanied with advantages for today and tomorrows.
