“Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.”Romans 12:12 NIV
Considering the current state of the world, the outlook can be concluded to be grim as the fight against COVID-19 and its variants continues.
In the midst of the global battle, we all, yet, have personal, family and even community struggles grabbing for our attention at the same time. It’s not hard to conceive many of us are discouraged and mentally drained. Perhaps, some of us are on the brink of giving up hope.
In Romans 12:12, we are encouraged, in the face of despair, not to give up along with providing three practices to get us through difficult seasons in life. First, be happy, holding onto the expectation that God is with us in the middle of any storm that comes our way. Second, be patience, trouble does not last always. The end is sooner than we think. Lastly, never stop communing with God, drawing near to Him despite havoc all around. By engaging in these three practices, by the grace of God, the continuous formation of triumphant thoughts within our minds carries us into better days.

Stay hopeful, be patient and keep on praying, the best is yet to come!”_ASA
