Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on the Lord shall be compassed about with mercy and with loving-kindness. Psalm 32:10 AMPC

Living absent from God is a choice to invite constant external and internal pain into one’s life. No one is exempt from pain and suffering landing on their door step. However, without God’s protection and buffing from unforeseen woes which have no respect of person, the encounter is different from individuals who seek God and those live without regard to God. Above all, the burden of the load, the weight of the problem or concern is solely upon the person who has decided to live separate for God. For those who depend on God, this is not the case.
In the midst of trouble, the act of trusting in Lord transports us, psychologically as well as spiritually, to a place where we experience God’s mercy laced with His loving kindness. God’s unfailing love draws us into the fortress of His mercy. When we rely on God, His mercy encircles us as shield protecting us for what may lame us in our faith towards Him.
