Lean Not On Yourself

"Trust in the Lord with all your and
lean not to you own understanding” Proverb 3:5 CSB

The task of making decisions is apart of each of our everyday lives. Even the lack of making a decision is a default decision, the choice to do nothing. Our present circumstance is a result of choices made or the lack of in our yesterdays. Our future is formed from the decisions we make today. What we allow to control us plays a significant role in our decisions, whether our own feelings or perceptions adopted from others. Unfortunately, since no one knows the future, our decisions are guesses, at best, concerning our next moves. Depending on one’s own understanding is a flaw which should be avoided at all cost.

Repeatedly reminding ourselves to trust in the Lord influences us to do just that. Thoughts of trusting God motivate us to have words and actions to depend solely on Him. Seeking God’s guidance in every area of life fills us with peace even on the most difficult days. In consulting God before our next steps, He guides into our tomorrows with assurance that God knows best. Trusting in the “All-Knowing” God is the security for arriving at the our tailor-made destiny.

seek God’s guidance for a well lived life. ”_ASA
