Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross made it possible for mankind to be one with the heavenly Father. Although we instantly become God’s child after accepting Jesus as our Savior, it’s a process to be transformed into the image of Christ. Laying aside weights and sin that hinders our growth in Christ is a challenge we ought to daily embrace. Each day we endeavor to think thoughts, say words and do actions that are pleasing in the sight of God. As we yield to the control of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, oneness with God deepens.
