“The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh. “ Proverbs 11:17

In our lifetime, we all have stood in need to receive mercy from someone else. In the fact, God’s Word teaches because of sin the world stands in the need of God’s mercy. The kindness expressed by God, which the world is still talking about today, is although we deserved death, He provided a way instead to give us life. As recipients of God’s mercy, we ought to extend kindness to others when in our power to do so.
The quote, “A little kindness goes a long way”, alludes to the power which rests in acts of kindness. One act of kindness can not only change someone’s day but reset a person’s entire life from a downward slope to an upward trajectory. Moreover, a kind gesture or even a needed kind word becomes a seed for kindness to bloom in life of the one who expresses kindness. For the sake of maintaining good vibes in our lives, always choose to be kind rather than practice cruelty.
