TELL GOD WHERE IT HURTS

“Healing goes hand in hand with thanksgiving and praise. God rewards a grateful heart.” Jeremiah 14:7
The statement, “Lord, heal me” is not only an acknowledgment of God’s power to heal you but also an agreement with His desire of our wholeness intact. Oftentimes, we forfeit the timing of God’s healing for us by not being in agreement with God. On one hand, we blatantly refuse to adhere to the directional nudges of the Holy Spirit. On the other hand, we are guilty of not prioritizing time to be in a position to hear from God by the leading of the Holy Spirit. With a grateful attitude., it’s imperative that we willingly and quickly agree with God to experience the healings He has prepared for us.
It’s not difficult to comprehend an expression of thankfulness after the healing has taken place. However, Jeremiah 14: 7 challenges us to usher in our healings with praise. Praise sets the atmosphere for the healing and at the same time aids us in establishing and maintaining a mindset to obtain healing. The posture of praise strengthens us to resist the voices of self-pity and discontentment from gaining a foothold with our inner man. Praise drives away doubt and gives us the courage to hold on to the promise of healing. Once the healing is manifested, one of the greatest proclamation of gratitude is to live a life perpetually giving thanks in all we think, say and do. What better way to thank God for the new found freedom from what once had us incapacitated from even the thought of the abundant life He promises.

“Grasping hold of our healings happens with ease when we endeavor to offer the sacrifice of praise while waiting for the manifestation.”_ASA
